Consultation

The laser hair removal treatment is always preceded by a consultation and a patch test. This is a special laser test, and from this  we are able to  determine the treatment parameters that  will be used during treatments.

The consultation allows us to correctly prepare the patient for the introduction of laser hair removal therapy.

What is the laser hair removal treatment?

The beam of light emitted by the laser causes damage to the hair follicle, this  causes it is gradual loss and permanent hair loss in the growth (anagen) phase. The hair cycle consists of three phases:

  • Growth,
  • Decay,
  • Falling out.

The laser most effectively removes hair in the growth phase (anagen). Therefore, treatments should be performed in a series of 4 to 8 treatments. The gaps between them depend on the epilation area.

Who will benefit from this?

Laser hair removal treatments are intended for people who struggle with:

  • Excessive hair
  • Who experience inflammation, pain or ingrown hairs while shaving with a razor
  • Women whose hormonal disorders affect (e.g., Hirsutism in various areas of the body, polycystic ovary syndrome) is affecting hirsutism in various of the body.

Treatments are performed in series, and the area of the laser hair removal determines the intervals between sessions.

How to prepare for the procedure?

  • The  day before the planned procedure, you should carefully shave the hair in the treatment area with a disposable razor (remember to avoid using the epilator, tweezers, wax)
